Endolift Treatment in The Woodlands

Noticing a softer jawline, early jowls, or loose skin under your chin, but not ready for a facelift and weeks of recovery?

At Vedas™ Medical Spa & Wellness Center, Endolift is performed by Dr. Chaitali Nangrani, MD, a board-certified family physician and our Medical Director.

Endolift is a minimally invasive laser treatment that can gradually firm mild to moderate loose skin and refine small pockets of fat along the jawline, jowls, and under the chin. It is done in one office visit under local anesthesia, with no scalpel incisions or stitches.

Meet Your Endolift Provider: Dr. Chaitali Nangrani

Dr. Nangrani is the Medical Director of Vedas Medical Spa & Wellness Center in The Woodlands. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, completed her family medicine residency in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and has held a Texas medical license since 2010.

Before focusing on aesthetic and anti-aging medicine, she practiced family and emergency medicine in Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas.

Because Endolift places a laser fiber under the skin, the experience of the person holding it matters. At Vedas, Dr. Nangrani evaluates you and performs your Endolift treatment herself.

What Is Endolift and How Does It Work?

Endolift is a laser treatment protocol developed by Eufoton that uses a 1470 nm diode laser. Instead of heating the skin from the outside, it delivers energy from just beneath the surface. You may also see it called a laser fiber lift or an endolaser lift.

After the area is numbed, a very fine, flexible optical fiber is guided into the layer of fat just under the skin. The fiber enters through tiny needle-sized entry points, not a scalpel incision, and nothing is cut away or stitched.

As the fiber moves, controlled heat does two things. It contracts the connective tissue right away and triggers new collagen over the following months, which is what firms the skin. Where there is a small pocket of fat, such as under the chin, the heat also breaks down fat cells to refine the contour. A 2025 report in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology describes this technique, performed under local anesthesia.

Minimally invasive, not non-invasive

You may read that Endolift is “non-invasive.” That is not accurate. Non-invasive treatments, such as radiofrequency or ultrasound devices, never break the skin. Endolift does, because the fiber works underneath it.

The accurate description is minimally invasive: tiny entry points, local anesthesia, no general anesthesia, and no surgical incisions. It is an in-office laser procedure, not a facelift.

Tightening and contouring, not volume or a surgical lift

Endolift tightens and contours. It does not add volume. If your cheeks or temples look hollow, dermal fillers address that and are sometimes combined with Endolift.

It also cannot reposition deeper tissue or remove excess skin the way a surgical facelift can. For heavy sagging or a lot of loose neck skin, surgery often remains the better option. Our article Can Endolift replace a surgical facelift? walks through the difference.

As Seen on FOX 26 Houston

In June 2025, FOX 26 Houston medical reporter Melissa Wilson visited Vedas and followed a patient through an Endolift treatment with Dr. Nangrani. The segment shows the patient awake and comfortable under local anesthesia and explains what to expect afterward. It is a news feature, not a medical endorsement. You can also read the FOX 26 story.

Is Endolift Right for You?

Endolift tends to suit adults with mild to moderate laxity who want a firmer, more defined lower face without surgery and who are comfortable with gradual, natural-looking change.

Areas we treat

  • Jawline and jowls
  • Under the chin
  • Neck
  • Cheeks and mid-face
  • Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
  • Full face

When another option may be better

  • Significant sagging or a large amount of excess skin, where surgery usually gives a more meaningful result
  • Volume loss, where fillers or other volume treatments are more appropriate
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • An active skin infection in the treatment area, a bleeding disorder, or a history of keloid scarring

Dr. Nangrani reviews your medical history and medications at your consultation and will tell you honestly if Endolift is not the right tool for your goal.

If stubborn fat rather than loose skin is the main concern under your chin, SmartLipo in The Woodlands may be a better fit.

Your Endolift Visit, Step by Step

1. Free consultation

We discuss what bothers you, look at your skin quality and laxity, and decide together whether Endolift, a different treatment, or a combination makes sense. You leave with a written quote and no obligation.

2. Before treatment

Stop retinol and peel-based products one week before and avoid other facial laser treatments for at least four weeks. On the day, come without makeup and leave earrings at home.

3. Numbing

A local anesthetic is injected into the treatment area, so you stay awake. You may feel a brief sting during the injections, then numbness. Inhaled nitrous oxide (Pro-Nox) may be offered for extra comfort.

4. Treatment

Dr. Nangrani guides the fiber beneath the skin along planned lines. Most patients describe pressure, warmth, or mild tugging rather than pain. A full-face appointment typically takes about 75 minutes, including preparation and numbing.

5. Going home

You go home the same day with written aftercare instructions and a follow-up plan.

Recovery, Results, and How Long They Last

Typical recovery timeline

  • First 24 hours: redness and swelling
  • First few days to a week: swelling and bruising, usually mild and temporary
  • First 2 to 3 months: patches of numbness can occur and typically resolve by month three

Many patients return to everyday routines within a few days, often using makeup to cover bruising. Healing varies, so plan treatment well ahead of weddings, photos, or travel.

When you will see results

Some firmness may be visible soon after treatment, but the main change builds as new collagen forms. Most patients notice improvement around 8 to 12 weeks, with full results developing by about six months.

How long results last

Longevity varies from person to person. Age, skin quality, sun exposure, weight changes, and smoking all play a role, and Endolift does not stop natural aging. Many patients need only one session; Dr. Nangrani may suggest a follow-up session or maintenance plan based on how your skin responds.

Possible risks and side effects

Common, temporary effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness, and numbness. Less common risks include small lumps or contour irregularities, infection, burns, and fat or skin injury. In rare cases, temporary irritation of a nerve near the mouth can cause mild lip asymmetry, which typically resolves within 8 to 10 weeks.

No treatment is risk-free. Physician selection and technique are among the most important ways to reduce risk, and your consultation covers the risks that apply to you.

Endolift FAQs

How much does Endolift cost in The Woodlands?

Endolift cost at Vedas depends on how many areas are treated, their size, and whether it is combined with another treatment. You receive a written, personalized quote at a free consultation before anything is booked, and financing options are available.

Does Endolift hurt?

Endolift is done under local anesthesia, so most patients feel a brief sting during the numbing injections and then pressure, warmth, or mild tugging rather than pain. Inhaled nitrous oxide may be offered for extra comfort, and numbness usually wears off within a few hours.

How long is recovery after Endolift?

Most patients have swelling and some bruising for a few days to about a week and return to normal routines within a few days. Temporary numbness can last up to two to three months. Plan treatment well before any major event.

When will I see Endolift results, and how long do they last?

Some firmness may show soon after treatment, but most improvement appears around 8 to 12 weeks, with full results by about six months as new collagen forms. How long results last varies with age, skin quality, and lifestyle, and natural aging continues.

Is Endolift non-invasive?

No. Endolift is minimally invasive. A very fine laser fiber is placed under the skin through tiny needle-sized entry points after local anesthesia. There are no scalpel incisions, stitches, or general anesthesia, but the skin is entered, so non-invasive is not an accurate description.

Can Endolift replace a facelift?

For mild to moderate laxity, Endolift can be an alternative to surgery. It tightens and contours but cannot remove excess skin or reposition deeper tissue, so people with significant sagging usually get a better result from a surgical facelift.

Is Endolift worth it?

Endolift can be worth it for people with mild to moderate skin laxity or a small amount of under-chin fat who want gradual, natural-looking firming without surgery and accept that results build over months and vary. It is usually not worth it for significant sagging or volume loss, where a facelift or fillers address the actual problem. A consultation tells you which group you are in.

How many Endolift sessions will I need?

Many patients need only one Endolift session. Depending on your skin and goals, Dr. Nangrani may recommend a follow-up session or a combination with another treatment, and she will explain this at your consultation.

Is Endolift FDA-approved?

Lasers like the one used for Endolift are FDA-cleared rather than FDA-approved. Eufoton’s LASEmaR 1500 laser received FDA 510(k) clearance (K092860) as a laser surgical instrument, with cleared uses that include soft-tissue procedures and laser-assisted lipolysis. Clearance applies to the device and does not guarantee results.
