What is Volume Restoration?

Facelift InstaLift/PDO Threads

Voluma®
Juvéderm Voluma is designed to restore lost volume in the cheek area, or age-related midface volume loss. By adding volume beneath the skin’s surface, Voluma provides lift and contour to the cheek area. Voluma’s effect is immediate, and lasts for up to a year.
Bellafill®
Bellafill provides volume that is both instant and lasting…proven up to five years! Using a smooth collagen gel base, Bellafill suspends tiny polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres that form scaffolding for development of your own collagen. The most obvious evidence of sagging skin may be wrinkles and folds. Natural-looking volume added by Bellafill will immediately soften smile lines and acne scars.
Juvéderm®
Juvéderm Ultra and Juvéderm correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds—the parenthesis lines or ‘smile lines’ around the nose and mouth. Injected into those areas of facial tissue, they temporarily add volume to the skin, giving the appearance of a smoother surface. Juvéderm lasts up to a year with optimal treatment.
Sculptra®
Sculptra, a formulation of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), is used for the treatment of facial fat loss. Causing the skin to thicken as it makes new collagen, it improves the appearance of folds and sunken areas, and hides fat loss. For many in the clinical studies, the effects of treatment lasted for two years. However, there seem to be significant side effects with Sculptra, and Vedas recommends non-PLLA fillers including Restylane, Juvéderm, and Bellafill.
Radiance and Radiesse®
Radiance, now called Radiesse, is a water-based gel suspending calcium-based microspheres. Used for nasolabial folds, not on lips. It is very thick, and requires a larger applicating needle than other fillers. Unlike hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Juvéderm and Restylane, it is not possible to dissolve Radiesse, so the treatments cannot be reversed. If you are unhappy with results, the impact will take 12 to 18 months to subside. Vedas recommends Restylane, Juvéderm, and Bellafill. We want your good results to be long-lasting, not your sad results!
Fat Transfer
When can a detriment become an asset? When you have your own fat cells removed from part of your body, purified, and injected into sagging cheeks and thinning lips or to enhance your breasts or buttocks. Fat transfer may involve several sessions of liposuction, but using your own fat reduces the chance of reaction. After grafting fat into the new area of your body, the fat develops a new blood supply. About half of the grafted fat usually survives. Results may be long-lasting, but should not be considered permanent. Fat transfer breast augmentation can improve your profile and your outlook on life!
