What are sunspots?

Sunspots are flat areas of skin discoloration and generally appear after the age of forty. They are most common in areas that get exposure to the sun like your face, shoulders, arms and legs.

What is Melasma?

Melasma is another common skin problem where we see whitish/gray patches when the skin is exposed to sunlight (image above). The American Academy of Dermatology suggests that this is most common in women.

What are Freckles?

Freckles are inherited and are most common in fair skin and those with reddish hair. In Summer freckles are more noticeable on the surface of the skin than during the winter months.
